Water footprint is the
measurement of the amount of clean water resources used in the entire life
cycle of the products, services and processes of the organizations, including
evaporation. The ISO 14046 Water Footprint Standard is an international
standard that enables an organization to assess potential environmental impacts
related to water. It gives the opportunity to make this assessment as part of a
life cycle in which all environmental impacts are taken into account.
